- c 40,000 - 11,000 BC= Land Bridge Theory)
Here the first Native Americans followed large mamouths onto the continent of North America.
- c 8,000 large mamouths began to disappear and Native Americans began to search for eatable plants.
- C 8,000 - 1,000 Native Americans began to grind food with stones and hunt smaller animals such as the bison or buffalo.
- c 427 AD the astrolabe which could help a sailor navigate out of the sight of land was thought to have been invented.
- 1000 AD = Leif Eriksson(c 1,000 AD)
