It Is Essential For Students To Know:
- It is essential for students to know the difference between a continent and a nation-state.
- Students need to know the location of the seven continents and should locate major nations in relationship to the continents.
It Is Not Essential For Students To Know:
- It is not essential for students to know the history of nation-building.
- Students do not need to know the names of all the nations of the world or be able to describe geographic features of the continents.
