Suggestions
- Review with the children about the meaning of goods and services from first grade.
- Explain that everyone who purchases something is a consumer.
- Play the game if I had a million dollars. Then tell the children that they only have one hundred dollars and see if they can determine a list of the things they need over the things they want.
- Talk to the students about the scarcity of our natural resources and the choices they can make at home and at school to preserve these resources.
- Explain to the students the all products or goods are made by someone. explain to them that every company decides before they begin to make the good the exact number of that certain good that they will make. Help them to understand that after those items are made there will be no more made.
