- Again teaching this Indicator is only taking a step up in the learning.
- It might be best to have posters with pictures of a school and the rules and laws made there.
- Pictures of a town hall and the mayor and finally a picture of judges in their official clothing and state and national Senators and Representatives to show the students how the chain of government continues to grow.
- Do not put emphasis on the person as much as you put on the job they are to do.
- As you talk about rules and laws and their differences, remember to also talk about the consequences for breaking rules and laws.
- A rule can be made for a game or for a group of people in a certain place to follow. We have rules for everyone to follow at school. But the child does not always follow these same rules at home.
- A law is made for an entire group of people whether it be in a town, city, county, state, or country.
